Building Sands
Bedding Sand
Used for many applications including under pavers and or tiles. Can be used around pipes. This sand has a high clay and fine silt ratio that makes it hold its shape when used around pipes, under tiles and under concrete slabs.
Sharp White Sand
It is ideal for mixing concrete and is commonly used for floor screeds and laying paving courses, as well as plastering. In addition to construction projects, sharp sand can also be used as a top dressing for lawns. Can also be used as Sand Pit Sand.
Fat Sand
Fat Sand, also known as Brickie’s is what you need for making mortar for laying and pointing bricks and for grouting. When mixed with coarse sand, it can also be used for rendering.
Coarse Sand
Coarse Sand, a larger particle size sand ideal for so many purposes. Great for adding drainage to soggy areas of the lawn or garden, excellent for use in plastering, or certain mortar mixes and also meets the specs for use for septic tank installations.
